
Who we are
LAOHA – Latin American Oral Health Association is a non-profit, philanthropic association focused on evidence-based research and practice.
Our goal is to pursue cutting-edge educational and scientific research by training, at the doctoral level, dental graduates in Latin America and other countries. The professionals we support are highly motivated, recognized for their excellence and leadership who, due to geographical and/or financial reasons, are unable to expand their studies in their own regions.
Established in Brazil in May 2015, it actually started its activities in 2016…highlights
LAOHA, along with members of the Ibero-American Observatory of Public Policies in Oral Health, developed a new area on the website. Based on educational materials, the initiative aims to contribute to improvements in the public health system in Latin America and the Caribbean. Click and find out.
The campaign "Take Care of Your Gums: Healthy Mouth, Healthy Body“, had as its central theme the importance of preventing gingival diseases for the health and general well-being of Latin American populations. Check out the material and share!
